THE 2009 REUNION

The Annual Reunion was again held last year at the Best Western Bank Hotel at Bransford, near Worcester, on the 9th and 10th of October.

As usual, it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and a wonderful opportunity for old friends and comrades to meet up again.

This year the Association's nominated charity was Help for Heroes and, thanks to the generosity of our Members and other guests at the hotel, over £550 has been donated to this worthwhile cause.

Our website host, 123 Connect, has provided a new and useful tool for you to use.  If you click on the small 'thumbnail' pictures your webserver will enlarge the picture for you - you can then download them to your own PC.  All photos are courtesy of our own paparazzi - Cpl 'Smudger' Smith.  Have lens, will travel.

THE 2010 REUNION

The 2010 reunion will be testing out a new venue.  The North Stafford Hotel, Stoke on Trent, will be hosting the event. Little do they know what's in store for them!!!!!!  Have a look at their website to see what facilities they offer www.britanniahotels.com/hotels/stafford and get your booking form in fast.  There are only 80 places reserved and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Members should have received their booking forms with the first edition of the new magazine in March - if you've lost yours, or the dog chewed it up, get in touch with the event organiser, Jeff Mellor, on 01613445062 or e-mail jeffrey.mellor@o2.co.uk            See you there?  We sincerely hope so.

Trust someone to find the cosiest place to park himself.  This was taken on the Friday evening 'Meet and Greet' event at which the chatter never seemed to end - there was so much to catch up on!

As you can see, everyone was so well mannered and listened intently to what the other was saying. Not like the days in the NAAFI or Dorfkrug when no-one listened to what you had to say and you couldn't hear yourself think!

Now that's what we like to see, someone enjoying themselves.
Stan and Val Miller seem to be having a good time as well.
This looks too serious - come on chaps, lighten up a bit.  What are you drinking, Grolsch or Carlsberg?
Oh my gawd!  The Chairman's laying down the law again.
Thinks!  Either his memory is better than mine or I've had too much of the amber liquid!
